By partnering with the FAT Karting League, we are building a clear and sustainable pathway for young racers, targeting thousands of children worldwide get the opportunity to pursue their passion in the years to come. FGMA will identify and support outstanding talent, offering resources necessary for those who deserve to compete—regardless of their background.

Lets Race!

For too long, financial constraints have kept talented young racers from reaching their full potential. And it’s only getting worse. A study by the Smedley Group estimated that the cost of progressing from grassroots karting to Formula 1 could soar to $33 million—an impossible barrier for most aspiring drivers.

Unlike other professional sports, where talent is the ultimate decider, motorsport has long been dictated by financial privilege. We’re here to disrupt that.

Passion. Skill. Opportunity. The future of racing should belong to those who earn it—not just those who can afford it.

FGMA stands for a pure meritocracy—where the best driver gets the seat.

Join us. The revolution starts now!

I’ve been karting for 10 years, starting out as a bambino at my local circuit Buckmore Park before moving up to Electric Karts in 2021, since then winning 4x Pro Championships as a Junior and becoming Vice-Champion 2x. In 2025, I came 4th in the F.A.T World Finals just missing out on a podium but learning great experience from such a large scale event. In addition to Electric success, I’ve also recently competed in the 24hrs of Buckmore Park Qualifying on pole last year and finishing 2nd in one of the most highly contested rental kart races in the UK.

The ultimate goal is Formula 1 however I’d also love to have a go at Indycar.

My Favourite racing driver is Lewis Hamilton, who has been a huge inspiration on my racing journey. For me Lewis brings diversity to the sport I love having read about his journey it is very similar to mine and many others in under represented communities. As I have been inspired by Lewis, I want to continue to inspire next generation of racers especially from the under represented communities of grass roots motorsport to keep their dreams alive.

WILLIAM.R

I’ve always loved cars and racing so I started karting in 2022 aged 6 with TKZ, now FAT Karting League. They provided such an amazing opportunity for me to get on track and race and do what I love.

I learnt a lot in my first 2 seasons as a Bambino driver, finishing 2022 & 2023 as Bambino National Vice Champion. 2024 was an incredible season stepping up to the faster cadet karts at the age of 8. I just loved the extra pace and was so happy to achieve Cadet Light National Champion 2024 in my first season driving the bigger and faster karts.

2025 was a bit of a tough season but I learnt a lot and came away with Cadet Pro National Vice Champion and qualified for my first international event, the World Finals in California. That was an incredible experience, and I gave it my all, winning 5 out of 6 races over the weekend and came away with Cadet World Vice Champion 2025.

2026 marks the start of my 5th season on track and my 40th race start with FAT Karting Leage which I’m really looking forward to.

My ultimate goal is to be a Formula One driver and has been since I was 3. When I’m 15 my aim is to secure a seat in Formula 4 and progress through the ranks successfully to reach F1 and be successful in achieving F1 world championship titles. Lewis Hamilton sets a high bar with all his incredible stats in F1, but I’m up for trying to match/exceed those and hope to inspire and support the generation that follows me.

My favourite racing driving is Lewis Hamilton; I grew up watching Lewis being so successful in Formula 1 but also experience some tough times too; he’s a role model to me because he’s such an incredible driver, so dignified and humble with all his achievements, so well respected within Formula One but also stands up for things he believes in and what’s right. ‘Never give up’ is something Lewis always says that really resonates for me on my journey in Motorsport.

I have to mention Lando Norris too as he hails from Somerset like me and I hope to follow in his footsteps to be the next West Country Formula One driver.

mEGAN

My biggest achievement so far BIKC vice champion 2025 ( lightweight) first ever female on the podium along with last year topping timing sheets within FAT karting test day at my first time at the track , plus 100’s of wins within members events at Teamsport.

My goal is to compete at the pinnacle motorsport such as F1, WEC or BTCC as I like to race the best of the best as it drives me to learn more and pick up on new skills and drives me to be better every day.

At just 13 years old, I’m a passionate karting driver who began my journey in motorsport at the age of 11. In 2024, I joined the Fat Karting League (GKL), an accessible entry into racing, and instantly fell in love with the sport. Karting quickly became more than just racing for me—it gave me a sense of freedom and helped me manage the challenges of ADHD, allowing me to truly be myself on track.

In 2025, I stepped up to compete in my first Junior Lights Championship. As the youngest driver in the category, I was up against competitors with years of experience. Although it took a few rounds to score my first championship points, I showed determination, resilience, and continuous improvement.

My passion for motorsport goes beyond driving. I’ve taken the initiative to gain hands-on experience through a mechanic internship with Jade Karting, where I’ve developed technical skills and a deeper understanding of the sport. I’ve also spent time at the FAT Karting HQ, learning about electric karts and helping prepare them for the upcoming season.

With a strong drive to succeed, I’m focused on progressing further this season and aiming to secure my first podium finish, as I continue working towards a future career in motorsport.

Like most young drivers, my dream is to become a Formula 1 driver, but I understand how competitive and expensive that path can be. Another goal of mine is to race in GT3 and compete in events like the FIA World Endurance Championship.

I’m determined to keep working hard, learning, and improving every step of the way. I know there are many different paths in motorsport, and I’m open to where the journey takes me. One day, I’d even love to be a team principal like Zac Brown, leading a team and helping other drivers achieve their dreams.

Favourite racing driver

My favourite F1 driver is Lewis Hamilton because he’s had to work really hard to get into F1, and then even harder to become one of the best drivers in the world. I find that really inspiring. He’s also come from a diverse background and set up a foundation to help young people like me, which I think is amazing.

I’m also a big fan of Aryton Senna because of the passion and determination he had for racing. The way he drove and the legacy he left, especially around safety in motorsport, really inspires me too.

I’ve wanted to go fast for as long as I can remember. That passion turned into a reality when I started competing in the FAT Karting League. Karting is easily the most fun and exciting thing I’ve ever done. When I’m behind the wheel, everything else disappears and it’s just me and the car. I can zone out of everything. I learned valuable lessons after completing my first season. It taught me: nothing is given to you, and everything is earned through hard work and tenacity. When I’m not racing, I enjoy playing soccer, running, and playing video games. I also love heading to water parks and spending time with my family, especially my brother.

I have my sights set on the highest level of motorsport: Formula 1. I am a huge fan of the series, and my favorite team is Red Bull. They have my favorite colors and a great car with a cool wing. Their team seems to work well together. My ultimate dream is to be an F1 driver so I can compete and win against the best drivers in the world.

Favourite racing driver

My favorite driver is Lewis Hamilton. I admire him because of his incredible experience, life story, and his record-breaking career. What I love most about watching him race is that it doesn’t matter if he’s stuck at the back of the pack because he will always find a way to make moves. He taught me that you have to keep pushing and fighting until the very end. Seeing him compete while watching races with my dad and brother made me realize that racing is something I can do, too. He’s a true inspiration to me.
